I shopped for a beat Z33 that I could turn into a track-only car. I found one locally, it ran well, and was a San Francisco-based car. It was VERY beat. He said this and that could be fixed, but the reality was that I wanted to primer it and gut it. I'd touch nothing but the suspension and aero, and drive it on the edge. That's something I never get to do. My Z32 is a reliable runner right now, but it's too pretty (and too $$$$) to run at the edge right now. No, I don't want to put it 4-wheels off, and it is not *really* replaceable w/r to budget. Let alone the engine risks I take given the oiling issues. I tried to jockey for a solid R32, but it seems someone beat me to the punch for it or they are dicking me along waiting for a higher offer. Maybe I'll have to look into a mid 80s 'Stang for myself. ;-) SS
